Solar Motion Sensor Security Lights Outdoor 4 Pack — Wireless LED Flood Light with Motion Detection for Garage, Driveway, Shed and Backyard

Sale price  $80.49 Regular price $100.61

Four wireless flood lights that mount with two screws and never need a wire run to them. The motion sensor triggers at roughly 26 feet across a 120-degree arc, which covers a driveway, a side gate or a shed door from a single unit.

Why people keep this one

  • No electrician, no trench, no permit. The panel, battery and light are one sealed unit. If you can drive two screws into siding you can install it in about four minutes.
  • Three modes, not just on-off. Motion-only, dim-until-triggered, and constant low. The dim-until-triggered mode is the one most people settle on — soft ambient light that jumps to full brightness when something moves.
  • Actually bright. These are flood lights, not accent lights. At full trigger they light a driveway well enough to find keys, read a licence plate, or make someone reconsider walking up it.

Where the four units usually end up

The driveway and garage side

The spot where you're carrying groceries in the dark and the spot most likely to be approached. One above the garage door and one at the side entry covers the whole approach.

The back of the house and the shed

Sheds, gates and back doors are where break-ins actually happen, and they're the last place anyone runs power to. Solar is the only reason these locations ever get lit.

Cottages, trailers and outbuildings

Anywhere without service, or where the power gets shut off for the season. The units keep working on their own charge with nothing connected.

Questions people ask before buying

Do they work in winter?

They function in freezing temperatures, but runtime drops. Short December days plus cold-reduced battery capacity means fewer triggers per night. Mount them where the panel gets direct midday sun and angle them so snow slides off rather than sitting on the panel.

Will they trigger on every cat and branch?

Sometimes, yes — passive infrared sensors respond to any moving heat source. Mounting height is the fix: at 8 to 10 feet, angled slightly down, small animals fall below the detection arc while people don't.

Are they a replacement for a security camera?

No. They light an area and they deter, but they don't record anything and there's no app or notification. If you want evidence, you want a camera; these are what make the camera footage usable.

Ships from our fulfillment partner. Mounting hardware included; charge them in a sunny window for a day before installing.
