Havenyard is operated by Henry Geno as a sole proprietorship in Russell, Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Information you give us: name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, and order history.
- Payment information: processed directly by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
- Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring site, gathered through cookies and similar technologies.
Why we collect it
To process and deliver your orders, respond to your questions, prevent fraud, meet our tax and record-keeping obligations, and — where you have opted in — send you marketing email. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers who need it to do their job: our ecommerce platform, payment processor, fulfillment and shipping partners, and analytics and advertising providers. Some of these partners are located outside Canada, which means your information may be processed in another country and be subject to that country's laws. Each is bound to use the information only for the services they provide to us. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember preferences, measure how the site is used, and measure advertising performance. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may stop working properly.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message. To make a request, email henrygeno@icloud.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Retention
We keep order records for as long as required by Canadian tax and commercial law, and other personal information only for as long as we have a reason to.
Children
This store is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

If this policy changes materially we will post the updated version here with a revised date.
