  • Genuinely waterproof, not "water resistant." A moulded lid lip overhangs the body so runoff sheds outward instead of wicking down the seam. Cushions come out dry, not damp.

Questions people ask before buying

Will it fade or crack in the sun?

The resin is UV-stabilized, which slows fading rather than stopping it. Expect a mild lightening over several seasons in full southern exposure. Cracking is a cold-weather issue and is almost always caused by impact on a frozen panel — don't drop heavy items in it in January.

Is it actually lockable?

There's a moulded hasp for a padlock, but the padlock isn't included. It's a deterrent and a child-safety measure, not a security safe — the walls are resin.

Will it blow away when empty?

An empty 120-gallon box is light enough to move in high wind. Most people keep something in it year round or strap it to a railing. Once it's loaded with cushions it stays put.
